II'm going to unveil more about the name of our blog.Its "sk8tgd".The question is, watz the "tgd" for?Its for Sk8 Tragedy.........Even our school is GD, so there!Thats how we named the blog www.sk8tgd.blogspot.com .... Nah im just bluffing, actually i named it sk8tgd by accident, i wanted it to be sk8gd, tragedy, yeah but i think the name SK8TRAGEDY is awesome, even though by mistake it rox. ;)

So i'm gonna introduce myself first:

well..i'm SD and i was lucky enough to be asked by my frnd and sk8 kno-it-all K.O to join the crew of this blog. And how cuold i resist ? i've been a huge fan of sk8brdin since i was a kid and last year i bought my skateboard. since then im addicted to it ! its really fun believe me !

submitting graffiti and deck designs that will make your board too hot fer tha streets..well..thats my job. Im also gonna create a clothing line for this blog, inspired by street wear and skate-punk styles. T-shirts, caps, shoes, bags, acsessories etc. for both men and women will be available shortly. but till then plz check out my other street wear at:

Pro Of The Week! Skater Bio 1.

RYAN SHECKLER
Ryan Sheckler, pro skater. This kid's gonna show the legends who's boss. And it's already begun.
Sheckler was born in San Clemente, California. At the age of 18 months, Sheckler found his dad's old school skateboard. Sheckler taught himself to push it around by using one knee, and eventually stood up on the skateboard. Since the age of 6, he spent up to 22 hours a week practicing tricks in his backyard - which includes a half pipe, table tops and several grind rails. He developed his own trick called the Sheck-lair - an indy kickflip flyout.
He turned professional in 2003 after winning in the X Games, Gravity Games, Vans Triple Crown and Slam City Jam.
Sheckler's career took shape during the summer of 1995, when Sheckler's dad built a new quarter pipe along with a few other additions making it a small skate park. A few years later, he joined the CASL (California Amateur Skateboarding League) and entered one of their contests and won. He idolized Tony Hawk and wanted to invite him to his seventh birthday party. Hawk attended the party and took some time to practice with Sheckler. During 1997-2001 Sheckler was winning the CASL state championships, where he picked up his first eye wear sponsor, Arnette, the same company sponsoring Tony Hawk. In 2004 he was named the World Cup of Skateboarding’s National Street Champion. In 2005, he was named the World Cup of Skateboarding’s National Street Champion and the AST Dew Tour Athlete of the Year. For 2006, he won the Global Assault in Australia and finished fifth at the Tampa Pro in Florida. Sheckler has had roles in the movies Grind, Dishdogz, and MVP 2: Most Vertical Primate, and stars in his own MTV reality show "Life of Ryan".

He also acted in a few films (Grind, MVP2,Dishdogz) and hosts the superhit MTV show, 'Life Of Ryan'

He was featured on MTV's show 'Crib' when he was 14. At just 18 years old, Ryan has turned his name into a franchise. He started his own merchandise line, Sheckler Merch, which caters to the skate industry. He was the youngest skateboarder to win Gold at the X Games at the age of thirteen.
